Mrs. Leslie Rosales

Hello! My name is Leslie Rosales, and I am the Family Specialist at Oak Grove Elementary.  I am proud to be a Panther and so happy to be part of this vibrant community.  I've been a Family Specialist since 2010.  My job is to ensure every learner has a clear path to success in school.  If there is anything I can help with, please reach out, and hopefully I can connect you to the right resource or the right person. 

Some services I help families with include: workshops and tools for academics,  physical and mental health, books for parents in child psychology, school supplies for school and home, emergency food/ hygiene, clothing, shoes, and much more! 

Hola! Mi nombre es Leslie Rosales y soy la Especialista de Familia de Oak Grove.  Estoy orgullosa de ser Pantera y feliz de formar parte de esta bonita comunidad.  Soy especialista desde el 2010. Mi trabajo es asegurar que todo estudiante tenga un camino libre hacia el éxito en la escuela.  Si existe algún problema que su hijo o su familia esté pasando, llámeme y juntos encontraremos la solucion. 

Algunos de los servicios que ofrezco son: Talleres y herramientas academicas y para la salud mental y fisica, libros para padres de sicología infantil, clases de inglés, útiles para la escuela y casa, comida de emergencia/productos de higiene, ropa, zapatos, y más!

    Family Engagement creates and sustains partnerships with students, families, and the community to ensure high levels of learning for all.

    Family Specialists

    Family Specialists are available to all NEISD families. They assist in various ways, such as:

    provide families with information from the district, community agencies, city and state institutions, and any other organizations that might benefit those with specific needs;

    • facilitate and conduct parent-education classes, counseling and mentoring;
    • assist students and families to reach their maximum educational benefits;
    • provide support to those who are in an emotional or financial crisis.

    Family Engagement Courses

    Family Engagement Course are free to all parents, grandparents, or community members. Participants are offered information on a wide variety of subjects.
